Guest joined The Center for Working Families as we celebrate the accomplishments of the fourth graduating class of our STRIVE Work Readiness training program. STRIVE is a national leader in helping individuals with significant barriers to employment receive the training and support they need to achieve economic self-sufficiency. Since its founding in Harlem in 1984, STRIVE has grown to 20 affiliates that combined have helped more than 60,000 individuals across America enter the workforce.The STRIVE employment model is rooted in the belief that every individual has the power to change and often simply need the tools and supports to do so. The Center for Working Families is Georgia’s only STRIVE affiliate.
